Pages from a Greek New Testament are visible beneath the many layers of Japanese rice papers. The final gold leafed Hebrew text gives interest and contrast to the other text elements creating the central cross form. Handwritten portions from the first chapter of the Gospel of Saint John are inscribed to the surface of the collage.
